Welcome back to another post on your favourite fashion blog, $wag Tag!! Starting off this week, we will be going into detail about an oldie, but a oh so goodie, the plain white tee shirt!!
A plain white tee shirt is a fashion staple that every person, man or women must own! The plain white tee shirt, which I believe is super underrated, will soon become your best friend. The beauty about this simple item is that you can literally never go wrong, however you decide to wear it! Today I will teach you how you can turn this simple you probably have playing around in one your draws, into the most versatile fashion item you own.
A plain white tee can easily be worn dressed up, as seen in this image. The tee has been paired with some grey dress pants and a brown belt, as well as (faux) leather dress shoes to give a more polished and put together look.
This outfit would be great for a day time look that can easily be transformed into a night look by pairing a black leather jacket or green bomber jacket, as seen below.
As a plain white tee shirt is such a staple, I suggest investing in a good quality shirt that you know will last through multiple wears and washes. For men, there are many great brands that provide quality white tee shirts. These include Raplh Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and ASOS.
However, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative Cotton On and H&M have shirts for as low as $10 dollars!

We can see here that the tee has been styled with some black jeans and black handbags and white trainers. This look is perfect for a casual day with friends, and even great for uni by swapping the black handbag for a black backpack.
Below, an oversized tee has been paired with blue jeans and a statement white watch. Personally, I can not get enough of this look!! It is so effortless, yet still looks so stylish and chique.
